The SAT is a 2-hour-14-minute digital exam that students in the Philippines take in person at international test centers hosted by schools in Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao and other cities. Register through your College Board account at satsuite.collegeboard.org, pay $111 in US dollars, and install the Bluebook app on a supported laptop or tablet. The next date you can still book is December 5, 2026, with a registration deadline of November 20.
Every fee, date and center in this guide comes from College Board's official SAT Suite pages.

How to Find SAT Test Centers in the Philippines and Secure a Seat
SAT test centers in the Philippines are schools listed in College Board's test center search tool, which you can use before you create an account. Choose "Outside the United States," pick a test date, and select Philippines as the country. Each result shows the center's name, address and whether a seat is available.
A search in early November 2026 listed 18 Philippine centers for December 5, 2026, 20 for March 6, 2027, and 15 each for May 1 and June 5, 2027. The list shifts because, in College Board's words, many test centers "don't offer the SAT on every date." Mindanao, for example, has a center on the December list but none for June.
| Area | Centers Listed for December 5, 2026 |
| Metro Manila | Assumption College San Lorenzo (Makati), MIT International School (Muntinlupa), Philippine Science High School Main Campus (Quezon City), Saint Jude Catholic School (Manila), Southville International School and Colleges (Las Piñas), St. Paul College Pasig, Victory Christian International School (Pasig), Xavier School (San Juan) |
| Luzon outside Metro Manila | Brent International School Baguio, Subic and Manila (Biñan, Laguna), Noblesse and Westfields International Schools (Angeles City), Saint Paul American School (Clark), St. Carmen Salles School (General Trias) |
| Visayas | Cebu International School (Cebu City), Philippine Science High School Central Visayas Campus (Argao, Cebu) |
| Mindanao | Philippine Science High School Southern Mindanao Campus (Davao City) |
Why early matters. Every listed center showed a seat in that search, but College Board warns that "Seats can fill up fast." If your nearest center fills, your fallback is another date or a center in another city, which can mean travel and an overnight stay.
In our coaching, we tell international students with time before their deadlines to treat the first sitting as a practice run under real conditions, which leaves room for a retake. If your preferred center shows no open seats, try other dates first, then work through concrete ways to track last-minute drops and nearby-city openings.
SAT Test Dates and Registration Deadlines for Students in the Philippines
SAT test dates for students in the Philippines match the US calendar, because College Board says its dates and deadlines apply to all students, US and international. For November 7, 2026, the regular deadline was October 23 and the late deadline October 27, so December 5 is the next sitting you can still book.
| Test Date | Registration Deadline | Late Registration and Changes Deadline | Student Scores Released |
| December 5, 2026 | November 20 | November 24 | December 18 |
| March 6, 2027 | February 19 | February 23 | March 19 |
| May 1, 2027 | April 16 | April 20 | May 14 |
| June 5, 2027 | May 21 | May 25 | June 21 |
Each deadline expires at 11:59 p.m. US Eastern Time, already the next day in Manila, so registering by the listed date in Philippine time beats the cutoff. Late registration costs an extra $38. College Board says most weekend scores arrive 2 to 4 weeks after test day; its score release dates are in the table.
Build backward from your application rounds. A Grade 12 student applying for fall 2027 entry should treat December 5 as the last 2026 sitting: College Board labels it the "Last Test Before College Deadlines," scores come out December 18, and processing times "may vary by college once scores are received." Compare those dates with each college's own deadline.
A Grade 11 student planning Early Decision or Early Action for fall 2028 entry has more room: College Board notes that most students first test in the spring of junior year and again in the fall of senior year. Test policies vary by school and year: Princeton, Columbia and Notre Dame, for example, are test-optional for fall 2027 entry but require scores from fall 2028, so check each college's admissions site.
Planning two attempts? Students can test as many times as they want, and holding two SAT registrations at the same time means each needs its own registration and its own fee.
How Much Does the SAT Cost in the Philippines?

The SAT costs $111 in all for a student registering from the Philippines: the $68 registration fee plus a $43 international fee, which College Board lists through June 2027 on its international fees page. All amounts are in US dollars; the peso amount you pay depends on the exchange rate your card applies at checkout.
Select locations add a $24 test center fee, but College Board's list of centers known to charge it names none in the Philippines. It still tells students to contact their test center for the latest information.
Your registration includes four free score reports if you order them by nine days after the test date. After that, each additional score report costs $15. You pay online by credit card or PayPal.

SAT fee waivers go to low-income 11th- and 12th-grade students in the United States or its territories and to US citizens living abroad, so a student in the Philippines without US citizenship pays the full amount.
| Fee Item | Amount (USD) | Notes |
| Registration + international fee | $111 | $68 registration plus $43 international |
| Test center fee | $24 | Select locations only |
| Late registration | $38 | After the regular deadline |
| Additional score report | $15 | Per report; first 4 free if ordered by 9 days after the test date |
| Change test center | $34 | Test center change only |
| Cancel | $34 | By the change deadline |
| Late cancel | $44 | After the change deadline, by the Thursday before test day |
The $111 covers registration and the international surcharge, not prep. A retake means a new registration at the same charges, so what the international SAT fee does and does not cover belongs in your budget. A sitting costs the same whatever your score, so the real question is readiness on test day.
How to Register for the Digital SAT from the Philippines: Step by Step

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels
Registering for the Digital SAT from the Philippines takes six steps, all completed online before you ever reach a center. College Board says the process takes about 30 minutes. You must register yourself; a parent or counselor can't do it for you.
The Digital SAT runs 98 questions in 2 hours 14 minutes of testing, 2 hours 24 minutes with the break, across two sections that are section-adaptive by module. Reading and Writing is 54 questions in 64 minutes; Math is 44 questions in 70 minutes. That works out to about 71 seconds per Reading and Writing question and about 95 per Math question.

Download the Bluebook app and set up your device.
The Digital SAT runs through the Bluebook app on a supported device: a Windows laptop or tablet, a Mac laptop, an iPad, or a school-managed Chromebook, never a personal Chromebook or a mobile phone. Bluebook builds in the Desmos graphing calculator for Math. College Board advises downloading the app at least 30 days before test day, then completing exam setup 1 to 5 days before the test, which generates your admission ticket.
If you have no device and cannot borrow one, you can ask College Board for a loan at least 30 days before test day, though a request does not guarantee one. Our coaches tell students to run a full practice test in Bluebook on their actual exam device at least two weeks out, because you cannot fix a compatibility problem you find the night before.
Your photo should closely resemble your ID and match how you look on test day, so take the upload slowly and follow a start-to-finish walkthrough of SAT registration.
On test day, bring your admission ticket, your fully charged device and an acceptable photo ID: physical, unexpired, issued by the government or your current school, and showing your full legal name exactly as on your ticket. If you travel from another country to test, College Board requires a valid passport. Knowing exactly what to bring into a Digital SAT test room prevents avoidable problems on the morning itself.

A 2020 study of 7,533 Filipino K to 12 graduates at one public university in the northeastern Philippines found weaker results in Science and Mathematics than in languages and literature, on a college readiness test rather than the SAT.
At IvyStrides, our coaches can start a student taking the SAT in the Philippines with a timed diagnostic once the date is booked, so the plan targets the specific modules holding that score below goal, through one-on-one coaching matched to your weak sections. Time zones and thin local resources are the extra variables abroad, which makes preparing for the SAT from outside the US a scheduling problem as much as a study problem.
FAQ: Taking the SAT in the Philippines
Can I take the SAT in the Philippines?

How to take the SAT in the Philippines?
Create a College Board account at satsuite.collegeboard.org, complete the student information form, select a Philippine test center and date, upload a photo, pay the $111 fee, and download Bluebook on a supported laptop or tablet.
