Who is PSAT prep for?
Grades 8 through 11. PSAT 8/9 (8th and 9th graders) builds an early foundation and a head start on the Digital SAT; the PSAT/NMSQT in 11th can qualify for National Merit, and 10th-grade scores set the SAT trajectory. Younger students are very welcome — starting early is a real advantage.
Is the prep National Merit–aware?
Yes. We coach the question types and timing that move you into the Commended / Semifinalist / Finalist bands, not just generic SAT-style content.
Why take the PSAT in 8th or 9th grade?
PSAT 8/9 gives younger students an honest, early baseline and a head start on the Digital SAT — and a strong score can qualify them for gifted and talent-search programs such as the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Starting in 8th or 9th builds the foundation that pays off on the PSAT/NMSQT and SAT later.
Does PSAT prep also help with the SAT?
Substantially. The Digital PSAT shares its adaptive engine and content frame with the Digital SAT — every hour of PSAT prep is also building SAT muscle.
What's the format, and what does it cost?
28 hours of live online PSAT classes, twice a week. Two tracks: a small-cohort Group program at $1,299, or 1-on-1 tutoring at $1,699 for students who want fully personalized pacing (e.g. aiming at top-of-state Merit cutoffs).
